Myron Velton Rodrigues

A passionate logician and a permanent resident of the pale blue dot

The very moment I open my eyes in the morning, my mind is computing, trying to make sense of the the weather, the light leaking in from the blinds, my sleep cycle or the absolute disaster that I committed in my code yesterday. The universe and life for me is a big machine, of which I am a part and my duty here I believe, is to find out how and why any of it works.

Driven by curiosity, life was always about learning new things or experimenting the hell out of something till I find an answer. The same curiosity drove me to pursue science, did my undergraduate studies in Electronics and Telecommunications and now I'm a qualified master of science in Robotics from the University of Bristol in the UK. As Richard Feynman rightly said "What I cannot create, I do not understand", making sense of intelligent life and the complex physics and mathematics that governs it requires a level of understanding that I believe, one can only achieve by playing the creator. By mimicking life to create something that moves and makes decisions is really a satisfying experience, teaching and discussing ideas is a way to refine the ideas of the same.

Apart from spending time doing a lot of thinking I spend time in reading and thinking even more. I play/learn the classical (guitar) or trap charges that were emitted by photons, from the environment, at a moment, never to be repeated again in the course of time (unless we make time machines ;-)). I speak english, konkani, hindi and memes. From a personal perspective I like to listen, understand and enjoy really deep conversations on life, robots, space, psychology or even on noses that run and feet that smell!

"We exist in a small place and a fraction of the time in the grand scale of the universe, life is about making the most of this moment, questioning everything, spreading love and laughter while cherishing the very planet that has made this possible" - Written by me, note it down if you haven't already ❤️.
